Sushmita – Bangalore - Dancer

I cannot hear or speak, and I’m a slow learner. I struggled to find job opportunities and felt defeated. Then Miracle on Wheels welcomed me. They didn’t just teach me to dance—they gave me a stage to shine on. Today, I perform across India and internationally. My voice may be silent, but my dance speaks for me.
Hanumantamma – Bellary - Dancer

A government bus dragged me nearly a kilometer in a horrific accident. I was in a coma for months. When I regained consciousness, I had lost one leg and needed multiple surgeries. I thought my life was over. Then Dr. Pasha and Mahiraa entered my life. They gave me shelter, supported my education, and trained me in dance at Miracle on Wheels. Today, I dance while I study and have performed in Dubai, Singapore, and all over India. I am no longer broken—I am unstoppable.
Anas Rabbani – Delhi - Dancer

My hands and legs shake. I cannot speak fluently, and I struggled to even hold a spoon. No one gave me a job because of my disabilities. I longed to dance and to earn a living. Miracle on Wheels gave me both. Today, I work with dignity, earn a respectable salary, and support not only myself but also my family. Thank you, Miracle on Wheels, for turning my life around.

Sandhya – A Story of Courage, Dance, and Woman Power
Sandhya is a living testimony to the fact that disability and hardship cannot limit human potential. Affected by polio at a very young age, Sandhya lost her father early in life. She was raised by her mother, a resilient woman who supported the family by selling flowers for daily survival. Sandhya’s life found a new direction when she met Legendary Guru Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha. Recognising her inner strength and talent, he offered her professional dance training along with formal education at Miracle on Wheels, India’s pioneering inclusive dance institution for persons with disabilities.
Under Guru Pasha’s mentorship, Sandhya trained rigorously in dance while continuing her studies. She later became an integral part of several dance theatre productions choreographed by Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha, performing on prestigious platforms and proving her artistic excellence. Today, Sandhya is not only a professional dancer but also a dedicated dance teacher, inspiring the next generation of children with and without disabilities. She is also a proud mother of two children, balancing family life with her professional and artistic responsibilities.
Her disability never became a barrier to achievement. Instead, it became the strength that shaped her journey. Born a girl, raised in adversity, Sandhya has shown the world that the power of womanhood—when guided by opportunity and belief—is truly unlimited.
